This course follows an organized, step-by-step method designed for students of any age. You will be playing real music, right from the beginning!
Songs used in the course are carefully chosen to appeal to most musical tastes and cover a wide variety of popular styles. In addition to learning all the basics of good musicianship that include ear training, note reading, rhythm, technique and theory, students are also guided in the operation of the instrument so that every song may be developed to its fullest potential.
Lessons are high activity, with lots of opportunity for ensemble playing,
quizzes. games and listening activities all designed to broaden the students musicianship.
You can join the course at any stage, so if you already have some experience of playing, you can start at an appropriate point in the course.
This course consits of weekly, hour long classes, and runs 45 weeks of the year. Tuition fees are £33 per month. Class sizes are small (maximum 6 students), and all class members have full use of a keyboard or piano for the whole lesson time.
Students can participate in regular recitals, larger fesivals and join our keyboard band, as well as benefit from extra classes and courses that run throughout the year.
The Pop Piano and Keyboard course is perfect for students who wish to take London College of Music exams. Students following this course have taken exams in:

Piano Duet

**Did you Know?- Graded exams 6-8 carry UCAS points for university entries
Many of our group classes, particularly those for adults, are taught using headphones, so you can work at your own level, but still get the social benefits of group lessons. These classes have a maximum of 4 students, and the teacher spends time with each student individually.
Students taking this course can progess right up to grade 8 level.
