Kwest Studios

Piano group lessons at Kwest Studios are for students who require a more traditional approach to piano. Like our other courses, lessons are highly active and lots of fun. Lessons focus on making music by developing good technique, teaching how to read music, understanding music theory and building  performance skills.

The course uses the 'Hal Leonard Student Piano Library' method as a base. Students love the variety of styles and moods the music in this course contains, and the singable melodies motivate students to practice and succeed.

The course is taught in weekly 1 hour long sessions, for 45 weeks of the year. Tuition fees are £33 per calender month. Class sizes are small (maximum of 6 students) and all students have use of a piano or keyboard for the full lesson time.

The course is suitable for students aged 6 to 13 years. Older students wishing to study classical piano are advised to join the Pop Piano and Keyboard course, which covers a range of styles, to get a grasp of the basics, before specialising in classical piano. 

This course can also be studied on a 1-to-1 basis, tuition fees for this option are £16 per 40min lesson, payable in blocks of 5 lessons.
